# Game Developers

One use case for the Lightning Network in gaming is for in-game purchases. With the Lightning Network, gamers can buy and sell in-game items quickly and cheaply. Another use case is for micropayments. Gamers can use the Lightning Network to pay small amounts for things like points, in-game currency or subscriptions without having to pay high transaction fees.
